SAP HR Systems Analyst

Reporting to the Senior Director, Global HRIS, this position will be responsible for providing design, configuration, testing, implementation and support services specific to SAP HR and related HR systems.
 
This person will work closely with corporate and divisional level Human Resource teams to take a lead role in maintaining the current systems while simultaneously understanding developing process requirements and driving continuous improvements and new functionality in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support new rollouts of SAP HR Time Evaluation and CATS functionality with particular emphasis on integration with Finance & Costing.
  • Partner with ABAP Developer on payfile extract from SAP Tables
  • Provide ongoing support of locations for SAP CATS and Time Evaluation post Go Live.
  • Support Time and Attendance process to be used in conjunction with CATS functionality.
  • Identify appropriate scope of new projects, evaluate blueprint requirements, estimate resource requirements, and prioritize requests by working in conjunction with business users.
  • Work with the Corporate & divisional HR level teams to seamlessly integrate divisional requirements with those of other company businesses for design and configuration changes.
  • Work with developers to provide guidance on functional specifications, and overseeing testing of new functionality to ensure it is to specification
  • Maintain expertise in SAP & other software systems relevant to HR through self-study, attending conferences, attending formal classes and participating in industry groups
  • Ensure software solutions are correctly integrated to all business processes
  • Participate in and/or coordinate process improvement sessions to (re)design as necessary current practices to take advantage of SAP.
  • Create training documentation and impart training to end users.
 
Knowledge & Experience
 
  • The ideal candidate must have 2-5 years of hands-on SAP process design and configuration experience in the HR module, including ECC 6.0.
  • Experience with HR implementation involving US, Europe and Mexico is preferred.
  • Experience with time keeping and SAP CATS is required
  • Experience with formal and ad-hoc reporting using SAP and/or other reporting/BI tools a plus.
  • Multiple full SAP project life cycles following the ASAP methodology preferred.
